Text message (SMS) opt-in

FLEETBAQ sends one kind of text message: an invite to a truck driver, sent when the fleet the driver works for asks us to. It carries the driver’s invite code and a link to sign up. Transactional only — no marketing. This page shows every step as it appears in FLEETBAQ. No login needed.

How opt-in works

  1. The driver agrees with their fleet. The driver gives their mobile number to the fleet they drive for and agrees to get a text from FLEETBAQ with their invite.
  2. The fleet enters the number and ticks the box. In the FLEETBAQ web app (Drivers → Invite a driver), the fleet creates the driver’s invite code, types the driver’s mobile number and ticks the consent box: “The driver agreed to receive transactional SMS messages from FLEETBAQ (invite codes). Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for more details.” The box is never pre-checked, and Text the code stays off until it is ticked. Our Terms allow fleets to text only drivers who agreed.
  3. FLEETBAQ records the consent. Who ticked the box, the date and time, and the exact words, with the number the text goes to.
  4. FLEETBAQ sends one text. It names the fleet, gives the invite code and a sign-up link, and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.”
  5. The driver taps the link and signs up. FLEETBAQ opens “Join your fleet” with the invite code already filled in.

Texts are optional. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using FLEETBAQ or of joining a fleet. A driver who doesn’t want a text can get the invite code from the fleet in person, by email or from the fleet’s own phone, and type it in under “Join with an invite code”. FLEETBAQ does not text anyone on its own, and never texts a number for marketing.

Program details

  • Program: FLEETBAQ driver invites — one text with an invite code and a sign-up link, sent when a fleet invites a driver. Transactional only: no marketing or promotional texts.
  • Message frequency: one text per invite. A fleet can resend an invite; FLEETBAQ sends no more than 3 invite texts to a number per day.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Stop: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You get no more texts from FLEETBAQ unless you reply START.
  • Help: reply HELP, or email contact@fleetbaq.com.
  • Privacy: mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
